Celebrating Capt. David Dorn

On June 1, neighbors, family, colleagues and city officials gathered in St Louis Place Park to celebrate the life of Captain David Dorn. Dorn was a well recognized neighbor in St. Louis Place five years ago when he was killed while watching over a friend's pawn shop during the George Floyd protests. Dorn's daughter, Debra, is also our neighbor. She and her sister Dee arranged the memorial celebration and the unveiling of two benches in the park in his honor.
